This is a Fiat Doblo car which has been purpose built for the carriage of a wheelchair user, plus three passengers and the driver. The car is available to everyone in Jersey so long as they have a bona fide need for the use of such a vehicle and on a short term basis. There is no charge for the use of the vehicle, but the driver must be over 25 and have a current driving license. A cash deposit of £200 is required up front to cover the insurance excess in case the vehicle is involved in an accident. It will be supplied with a full tank of fuel and bookings are on a first come first served basis.
